I am new to this tribe, and though I do not have a senior-level position in a nonprofit, I aim to one day soon. I joined this tribe because even though it's not directly applicable to me, there's not a general nonprofit tribe, and I enjoy reading about other people who are doing what I want to do - it's inspirational. I hope you will excuse the intrusion.
That said, I am trying to get a job with Global Fund for Women (San Francisco). Does anyone know anyone there I could talk to about the organization? Their website is pretty limited, and the job listing discouraged phone calls/emails, but I would really like to find out more about the organization. Thanks so much for any tips!
And thanks for having this tribe - it's really interesting reading the postings describing what everyone does - really helpful for someone wanting to get into nonprofit work.
